Printing Tests

TG Reports enables administrative-level users to display, review and analyze test data. TG Reports can be opened from within Test Generator or launched as a separate application. TG Reports replaces the Reports module found in pre-TG2.4.12 versions of Test Generator.

TG Reports is organized into three groups: Reports, Analysis and Miscellaneous. The designations in this topic are Course, Trainer, and Test Taker (Pre-TG2.4.12 designations were Class, Instructor and Student). You can customize these designations  under TG's System module: System > Settings > Designations.

Types of Reports

• Test Scores

  The Test Scores Report displays scores by test. Useful for monitoring the performance of all test takers within a given test.

• Class Scores

  A Class Scores Report displays Test Takers' scores for all the tests within a particular Class. Useful for monitoring the performance of all Test Takers within a specific Class.

• Test Taker Scores

  The Test taker Scores Report displays an individual test taker’s scores. Useful for monitoring individual performance across Tests and/or Classes.

• Test Taker by Subject

  Displays a test taker’s test results by subject. Useful in assessing performance by subject.

• Study Guide

  The Study Guide Report is a snapshot of the Test taker's test, displaying each answer selected by the Test taker. Unanswered questions are left blank.

• Question Reference

  The Question Reference Report displays missed questions and the associated question reference. Useful in providing remediation and review.

• Survey

  The Survey Report outlines Test taker responses to your survey. The report displays each question, the number of responses, and a statistical representation of the responses for each question type.

Analysis Reports

• Question

  The Question Analysis Report is useful in determining how well Test Takers performed on each test question. The report displays in a table: the left column displays the question number followed by one or more column headers grouped by percentages. The right (Total) column displays the average percentage a particular item was answered correctly by all Test Takers.

• Subject

  A Subject Analysis Report is useful in determining how well Test Takers performed on each subject in a test. Test questions are either authored in a test and then tagged and associated with a subject or question bank, or imported from individual question banks. • Answer

  The Answer Analysis Report displays detailed information on how each question in a test was answered by Test Takers. The report displays in a table. The number of times a wrong answer is chosen appears under the corresponding answer (A, B, C, etc.). Note: Some question types (e.g., point-and-click) indicate whether the question was wrong, correct or skipped.

• P-Value

  The Point-Biserial correlation is the correlation between the right and wrong scores test takers receive on a question and the total scores of the remaining questions. The p-value describes the proportions of test takers that answered the question correctly.

Miscellaneous Reports

• Test Activity

  The Test Activity Report is a snapshot of testing-taking activity. It provides up-to-date information regarding which users have taken a test and which have not.

• Test Key

  The Test Key Report displays / prints a test key or a test.

• Test List

  The Test List Report displays the number of tests saved or organized per course.

• Enrollment

  The Enrollment Report displays enrolled Test Takers per Class. Useful as an enrollment list and/or User ID reminder for the Instructor.

• Question Feedback

  Displays test-taker feedback per test. Useful in examining tests with Allow User Feedback enabled.

Reports can be previewed, printed or exported. There are several export options to choose from. These options can be selected from the TG Reports’ icon toolbar or by right-clicking the report information on the right side of the window.

Note: A prompt informs you if any records within a given report have been identified as corrupt when opening the report, and the corrupt records are highlighted within the report.

Customization

We also offer the option of customizing reports. We can provide your IT staff with a data map/schema, enabling them to either create new reports using Crystal Reports or create and run sql queries against the test data. If your IT staff is unavailable we can provide a customized Crystal Reports report or sql query based on your specification.  Cost varies based on your specification. Contact us for details.

Dashboard

A web-based administrative dashboard (http://www.testshop.com/tgdashboard/) allows you to log in and view summary test data by Course, Test or Test Taker as well as run sql queries against the data. If you wish to review in more detail, please contact us.
