While Test Generator can print tests and test keys, the application’s main focus is built around giving tests on a computer (Windows or Intranet/Internet. One of the principle advantages is the streamlining of test delivery, grading, reports and test administration.
Printing a test and test key for traditional "paper and pencil" tests.
Printing a test to share with other test authors/administrative-level users.
Printing test/test key reference copies for filing.
Printing/sharing tests with teacher/trainer colleagues who do not have a TG solution.
You can print a test, test key, or a randomized test and its corresponding randomized test key, using the Simple Test Key Report. To print a randomized copy of a test, the test’s randomization feature must be activated.
Print a test and answer (bubble) sheet to use with Test Generator’s TG Scan utility. TG Scan enables test authors to print paper tests and an answer (bubble) sheet. Once a test is completed, the answer sheets are scanned into TG’s database using the TG Scan utility. Contact us for more details.
In addition to the print options described above, you can preview and print a test or test key by selecting either report. Once selected, a separate Class column appears to the right of the tree view. From the Classes column select a test and either double-click the test icon or select the Print Preview icon in the icon toolbar. Either action displays the print preview window.
The Test Key and Simple Test Key Reports include additional print options.
In TG, an open test is in the test edit mode. The Print Setup, Preview and Print commands are accessible under the File menu and the Print and Print Preview icons are active under the icon toolbar. These commands behave the same way as those described above (see Print Options under TG's Main Menu).
