Mode: Test Edit
Where: Above the yellow question box
The Test Properties > Options tab offers a number of test-behavior options governing how Tester responds during a test-taking session. See Test Settings Options Tab for complete details.
When this option is selected, Tester provides the test taker with one of three types of feedback: Text, Media or URL. The choice of text, media or URL link can be set per question.
Feedback options can be accessed by clicking the Feedback tab + the fb link directly above and to the left of the Feedback tab.
Immediately informs a Test Taker whether he/she has answered a question correctly or incorrectly. If answered incorrectly, it highlights the correct answer. This option also shows the Question Reference field for that Question.
Note: This option does not automatically ensure a Test taker cannot change an answer once shown the correct answer (in the case of practice exams, etc.). Either the Accept Only First Answer option or the Forward Only option must be set to ensure Test Takers cannot change their answers.
At the completion (submission) of a test, the test taker is given the option of selecting a feedback link. Feedback links are displayed under a test’s Summary List. If Test Takers choose to view question-specific feedback, they click the Feedback link. Note: viewing feedback is not mandatory and not all questions require feedback.
The type of feedback presented depends on the feedback option chosen during test creation. Feedback choices include: Text, Media or URL. This option becomes available to the test taker after the user has submitted the test by clicking the Finished Taking Test button located in the test’s Summary window.
The choice of text, media or URL link can be set per question.
Feedback options can be accessed by clicking the Feedback tab + the fb link directly above and to the left of the Feedback tab.
At the completion (submission) of a test, the test author can elect to allow Test Takers to view any of the test items displayed under a test’s Summary List. Since the test has already been submitted for grading, the Test Takers can view, but not change, any answers. To return to a question, the test taker double-clicks any row in the Summary List. Test navigation is the same as that experienced during the test taking session. Note: Test review is optional – the test taker can exit the test at any time. Once exited, the test taker cannot log back in and review the test.
When this option is selected, Tester’s Summary List displays a Your Score column and the point score. A "0" score indicates an incorrect answer. Note: Skipped questions are scored as incorrect and display a "0" point score. A View Scores by Subject button appears at the bottom of the Summary List. This displays a separate table that organizes a test taker’s performance by subject. The table displays the Subject, the number of test questions related to that subject and the test taker’s percentage score for that subject.
When this option is selected, Tester’s Summary List displays a "Passed" or "Failed" message at the bottom of Tester’s Summary List window. In order to enable this option, the test author must first enter a Pass/Fail number under Test Settings > Test Properties > General tab, Pass/Fail Percentage field.
A certificate of completion can be printed directly from the Tester upon Test Takers’ completion of the test.
