The system Logs are a record of Test Generator events. An Administrator can set which events are logged into the system in the Logging folder (System > Settings > Logging) in the Tree Directory. The system can be set to not log anything (logging disabled), it can be set to log All Events, or it can be set to only log Selected Events.

The All Events selection includes logging in and logging off Test Generator or Tester, taking and editing tests, enrolling and deleting users, and every other event associated with Test Generator or Tester.

Administrators (and Instructors if their permissions have been set), may view the system Logs at any time by highlighting Logs under System in the Tree Directory. The system Logs include a Date field, a Time field, a Who field, a What field, a (What Test) field, and a Where field (which computer on the network - for TG LAN).

The Refresh button updates the Logs to include events since the Administrator (or Instructor) logged in. A drop-down menu to the right of the Refresh button allows the Administrator (or Instructor) to view the logs from four different time frames: Since Last Login, Since Yesterday, Last Week, and All Log Entries.

An Administrator can delete logs by highlighting them in the list and clicking the Delete Selected Logs button.
