Test Generator Instructors can create and edit tests, access test taker profiles, and view and print reports on scores. Administrators can enable or disable Instructor permissions.
Select File
> New > User or the New
User icon (
) on the
toolbar to access the New
User dialog.
Enter the last name of the Instructor and click OK.
Enter the first name and middle initial in the spaces provided.
The default User
Type for a new user is Test Taker. Make sure you select Instructor
as the User Type in the box to the right of the Instructor's name.
Below the Instructor's name are five tabs corresponding to five folders.
You only need to complete the information in two of these folders
to get started. The Login folder should already be open.
You must assign the Instructor a, alphanumeric User ID and Password in the spaces provided. You can only use letters and numbers with no spaces. The Instructor needs this information to log in to Test Generator.
Next, click the Permissions tab to open the Permissions folder. Select the permissions you want the Instructor to have by clicking the small box to the left of the appropriate text. A check should appear.
