File > New > Class

QuickStart Step 4

FYI…

In Test Generator, a Course is a repository/directory/container for Tests. By default, TG uses the term Course; however, you can change it to Class, Department, Unit, Squadron, or whatever suits your needs. To change these designations to match your environment, go to TG’s tree view select System > Settings > Designations. See System Settings.

Your tests are stored under a Course, so begin by creating a Course.

  1. Click the New Course icon (new_course_icon.gif )on the toolbar, or choose File > New > Class.

  2. Type the name of your new course in the space provided in the dialog box.

  3. Fill in the session, days, time, and description information, as applicable to your course.

    Note
: this information is optional. The only required field is the Course name; however, it’s a good idea to provide the additional information, especially if other administrative-level users will be accessing this information.

  4. Beneath the Description field are three folders - Enrollment, Trainers, and Notes. We address these later.

  5. Now that you've created a course, you can begin to create tests to save/store under this course.
