Use the steps detailed below to create and publish your own sample test you can log into and take (note: you can also take the CPR and Math Sampler tests).
Open TG (Start
> Programs > Test Generator > Test Generator)
OR
Click the green G icon.
Log In. Both the User
ID and the Password
is Admin.
Best Practice
Important: We highly recommend you change the Password upon
purchase.
Create a repository (directory/class/course)
Select File > New > Class,
give it a name, click OK.
Note: You can skip this step if you save your test under the
Sample Class.
Select File
> New > Test or click the New
Test icon ) on the
toolbar to open the test template where you create your questions.
Create your first, multiple-choice
question (Test Settings > New
Question > Multiple Choice or Ctrl
+ F1)
OR
Click the blue Q in the toolbar
and select Multiple Choice from the pop-up menu.
Type or copy/paste, your question text in the yellow question field.
Click the red A.
This creates (by default) four answer fields.
Type or copy/paste your answers into the A, B, C and D answer fields.
Select the correct answer by clicking the A, B, C or D radio button.
Select File > Save (or Ctrl + S, or click the Save icon).
In the Save
Test window, select the Class
(folder) you created in Step 3.
If you did not create a Class, select the Sample Class.
In the Test Name field, type in the name of your test and click OK.
Now you are ready to Activate/Publish your test. Once you have activated the test, take the test.
You can also create a test by importing questions from other file formats. See Importing and Exporting Tests.
