TG database functions are available from the Tools menu on the main window. It is a good idea to backup and compact your TG database regularly.
The Backup Database tool creates a backup of all of your current data in Test Generator. This includes course, test, user, score, and media information. The Backup Database tool closes TG and prompts for a backup location. It then copies all necessary files to that location. If the backup is for strictly archival purposes, you may want to go to that location and compress the files using a program such as WinZip, to save disk space.
To backup your database, select Tools > Backup Database in the Test Generator main window.
