The Test Generator Question Bank (QG) is Test Generator’s application question bank, a very powerful and useful tool for creation, organization and storage of questions in various question banks. The Question Randomization Engine is Test Generator’s randomization utility. If you plan on randomizing one or more of your tests, you must use the Question Randomization Engine.
The QG is a repository, or "container" where test authors/administrators can store and manage one or many question banks. Question banks are organized by Subject and represented in the tree view as folders or directories. Test authors can export questions from a test into QG and import questions from QG into a test.
The TG Question Bank module (QG) is located on TG's "home" window, under the tree view.
The Question Randomization Engine is a test randomization utility. It enables an author to apply a range of randomization options to a new or existing test. These settings can define the number, order and grouping of questions presented to the test taker.
To access the Question Randomization Engine, open a test and select
Test Settings > Section Properties
from the menu and select Randomization
OR
right-click the Section tab and
select Section Properties.
