Equations, Images and other Drag and Drop Objects can be embedded in question and answer text.
Note: This feature is deprecated. Please use Media instead whenever possible. Each instance of a Drag and Drop Object must be stored in the Test Generator Database, which could adversely affect test performance. Only one instance of Media files is stored in the database.
Note: Drag and Drop Objects do not print from Test Generator at this time.
Whenever using Drag and Drop Objects, compress the files to be embedded as much as possible. If Drag and Drop Objects are embedded in any test, be sure to trial the test on the machines used for testing before administering the test.
To embed an object in your question or answer text, edit the appropriate test and question, and the editor you use for your Drag and Drop Object. As appropriate, either highlight the object, copy it, and paste it into TG’s question or answer field, or drag and drop the object from it’s editor into TG’s question or answer field.
One possible use of Drag and Drop Objects in Test Generator is to include a mathematical equation created in an external equation editor in the text of a test question or answer.
Many such equation editors exist. We use the Microsoft Word Equation Editor as an example. Simply create the equation in Word and open Test Generator concurrently. In Test Generator, edit the appropriate test and question. Then drag the equation from Word into the Yellow Question Area or white answer box in Test Generator.
Remember, this technique is inefficient for Test Generator and deprecated. If possible, save your equation as an image file, import that file into TG as Media, and add that Media to the appropriate question.
