Test Settings > New Question

Multiple Choice questions can have up to ten answer choices. There can be only one correct answer choice, unlike CheckBoxes questions, for which there can be multiple correct answers.

  1. Click the blue +Q, Question button, or select Test Settings > New Question. A list of the 11 question types appears.

  2. Select Multiple Choice. The Multiple Choice question-type appears in the yellow box at the top of the window.

  3. Enter your question text in the yellow box at the top of the window. Delete, or type over, the introductory text. Type your question as you want it to appear on the test.

  4. Click the +A Answer button at the top of the window. Four answer boxes appear (you may add/remove answers) below the yellow question box.

  5. Click the mouse in each box and enter the answer text as you would like it to appear on the test.

  6. Select the correct answer by clicking the small circle (radio button) next to the appropriate answer box. (A Multiple Choice question can have only one correct answer.)

  7. For a random display of answers, click the Show Answers Randomly icon (image\random_question_icon.gif) or select Test Settings > Show Answers Randomly

    Note
: Random answers must be set for each question individually; it does not apply to the entire test.
